The 18th Annual IWEC Conference (Bahrain, February 2026) brought together global women entrepreneurs, leaders, and investors to foster collaboration, innovation, and international business growth. The IWEC Foundation, in collaboration with FICCI-FLO, hosted a dynamic South-East Asia Meet in New Delhi centered on the theme “Women Empowering Women.” The one-and-a-half-day gathering brought together women entrepreneurs, business leaders, and policymakers to foster global connections, share insights on MSME growth, and strengthen international collaboration, reinforcing IWEC’s mission to empower women in business worldwide.

In Memoriam: Ambassador Ruth A. Davis (ret.) Founding Chairperson and Co-Founder, IWEC

Ambassador Ruth A. Davis, co-founder and founding Chairwoman of IWEC, passed away on May 3, 2025, in Washington, DC. A trailblazing diplomat and lifelong advocate for women entrepreneurs globally, she led IWEC with vision, dignity, and excellence from 2007 to 2023. Her legacy of service, leadership, and empowerment will continue to inspire generations.
