Ms. Telma Ortiz Rocasolano is an economist by training, who spent her early career working on the frontline in humanitarian relief projects for large NGO’s, including the Spanish Red Cross, MSF and AECID. Driving projects, financial planning, overseeing management and operations in permanent and crisis situations across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and South America.

She is widely travelled and her early experience has tempered her to be always driven, logistically clever, and solution orientated. Telma is a team player who thrives on intense working environments with targeted timelines.

An economics graduate from Barcelona University, she obtained her postgraduate and masters from Rome, Mexico and Barcelona universities, in Marketing and Administration. She is a doctoral student in Biomedicine program at Barcelona University.

China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), a joint-venture for management education, was co-founded by the Chinese government and European Union (EU) in 1994, with Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the EFMD serving as its executive partners. CEIBS has campuses in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Accra in Ghana, and Zurich in Switzerland.

As China’s only business school to originate from government-level collaboration, CEIBS is committed to educating responsible leaders versed in “China Depth, Global Breadth” in line with its motto of “Conscientiousness, Innovation and Excellence”. Leaders from the Chinese central government and the EU have respectively lauded CEIBS as “a cradle of excellent executives” and “a role model of EU-China cooperation”.

She is entrepreneurial and extremely focused on nutrition. Recently, Telma has begun developing a lifestyle business to bring new F&B and nutraceutical products into the Spanish and Chinese markets.

Telma is also mutli-lingual, speaking Spanish, Catalan, French, English, Italian, Portuguese and a smattering of Arabic.
