IWEC is very pleased to announce our newest Global Ambassador for Spain, Regina Llopis, President & CEO AIA/Elequant.  Regina joins 8 other Ambassadors from 5 countries around the world.

Regina holds a Degree in Mathematics from the University of Maryland with High Honors. Master of Science and PhD in Mathematics Applied to Artificial Intelligence from University of California Berkeley. Also holds Diploma in Senior Management PADE Program IESE Business School, Barcelona. Academic Positions in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the Universidad Simón Bolívar, Caracas. Visiting professor at the Mathematics Department of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, at the IBM Research Center, IBM-UAM, Madrid and short stage visit at the Universidad Católica of Chile. Responsibilities on multinational Global Teams on Software Engineering for Industrial Control Projects and  others.

Partner and Director General of the University of Barcelona Science Park (1998 -1999).

Member of the Boards of holding companies which she has designed and created such as the subsidiaries: EleQuant, EleQuant Inc. (US) since 2001, Gridquant Inc. (US) since 2012, MAIA (México) since 2004, AIA and participated R & R Music Limited.

She has created and maintained permanent commercial relationships with some of the top leaders of targeted sectors Financial, Energy, Telecom in Spain. Initiates exports the energy line with Pacific Gas and Electric Company in San Francisco California with about 20 million customers, Federal Electricity Commission, the owner and operator of the national grid in Mexico, one of the largest in the world that provides electricity to a population of 100 million. Regina is leading his team expansion in the global market.
