Some have kept it minimal — for example, Rent the Runway’s Jenn Hyman’s posts on the matter have so far been limited to jokingly offering to supply business expert Elisabeth Huff with ballgowns for her at-home conference calls. Others have found opportunities to try to educate or lift up their followers.

The billionaire founder of undergarment company Spanx shared a video — which she got from fellow female founder Shazi Visram, of Happy Baby — that illustrates the importance of hand-washing in terms that children can understand. Blakely added at the end of her post, “I’m sending all of you love, strength and health during this time. Hold your loved ones close … but wash your hands first!”
