The Pakistan-Afghanistan Joint Chamber of Commerce announces , Manizha Paktin, Director Rad Constructional Company as 2017 IWEC Awardee
Manizha Paktin is the director of Rad Constructional Company since 2007. The company consults in civil engineering on construction projects; constructing private houses, hotels, clinics, bridge and schools in more than 25 provinces. They also providie drawings, designs, estimations and all required technical drawings. Manizha is also a professor at Balkh University since 2005. In 2013, she also founded the organization, Stand Up For Afghan Women Organization (SAAWO)) which is in more than 25 provinces of Afghanistan. She has an M.T.S. in Construction management and planning, and now studying her PhD in Civil Engineering.
Ms. Paktin will be attending the 10th Annual IWEC Conference, held on Nov. 12-14th in Redmond, Washington, to accept her award.
The 2017 IWEC conference, whose theme is “Connecting Women Businesses Globally: Accelerating Growth through Innovation & Technology”, celebrates a milestone: IWEC’s 10th anniversary. The conference is sponsored by Microsoft and hosted at their corporate headquarters in Washington state. The theme of the conference is very fitting not only for the venue, but for the emphasis that IWEC places on mentoring, education and cross-collaboration across borders. The conference agenda is a thought-provoking set of panels and presentations covering threads such as “Doing Business in the U.S.”, “Artificial Intelligence” and “Cybersecurity and Blockchain”, among others.
