Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce & Industry & CACCI Announce Three 2018 IWEC Awardees

Congratulations to all these successful women!  We are very excited about honoring all of them at our 2018 Annual IWEC Conference in Shanghai in September on the campus of CEIBS.

Ulziimaa Naidandorj, CEO, Yalguun Accessories, www.yalguun.mn

Ulziimaa’s father was a lama /monk/ and her mother was running a bakery factory. She learned from her mother how to run a business and when she was attending her university, she began selling brand products from Hong Kong, Italy, France, and Dubai to Mongolia. She learned all about trading, selling goods and dealing with customers. In 2015 she was studying for her MBA at University of Economics and Finance in Mongolia and began understanding how to mix her passion for design into a business model.  She bravely started Yalguun Accessories and since then has been expanding her business one day at a time.

Tungalag Damba, CEO, Denimon LLC, www.urban.mn

Tungalag Damba is the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Denimon LLC and President of Professional Federation of Mongolia Sewing Industry. She is a founder of a leading clothing brand, URBAN, winning the Best Fashion Design in 2015 Goyol Fashion Show. URBAN distributes its clothing lines through 14 brand stores in the capital city / 15 distribution centers in rural areas. Under her leadership, the company has become a leading SME in Mongolia and the Best Tax Payer 2017. She was named the Best Entrepreneur of Khovd Province in 2016 and selected into 2018 Fortune – the US Department of State Global Women Mentoring partnership program.

Narantuya graduated as a Pediatrician at Saint Petersburg State Pediatric Medical University in 1992. After graduation, she moved to Japan in 1993 working as a Mongolian language teacher at JICA. In 1996 she started working at Venti-Uno, a company that sells Mongolian Cashmere in Japan for 8 year. Based on her extensive working experience at Venti-Uno, Narantuya has help open a factory in Mongolia. 2006 also finished internship at Shimaseiki corporation as programmist of a knitting machine. Narantuya received the 2014 Lady Entrepreneur by MNCCI, Honorary Medal of Labor by MWCA 2015, Altan Gadas/Polaris” medal on 2016.
