IWEC Announces Two 2018 IWEC Awardees From the United States
We congratulate two successful women business owners from the United States this year. Both will be honored at our 2018 Annual Conference on the campus of CEIBS in Shanghai, China in September. We look forward to honoring these two amazing women!
Verna Meng, CEO, Vee International, Inc., www.blushnovelties.com
Verna worked as a system engineer for a market data feed company for a few years before 911 when she lost her job. She started a translation company helping the big Chinese community located in Flushing, NY. After a few years, I met many business owners who came from China and looking for opportunities in the United States. Among them, was in individual who had a connection in China who was manufacturing adult toys. We started our business 12 years ago and the rest is history. Today we have two factories overseas, a sales office in LA and a distribution center, headquarters in NY.
