Dendev Udval, President, Naran Trade LLC, www.narangroup.mn

In 1990 Dendev established Naran Trade with her husband right after Mongolia entered the Free Market Economy.  The company had humble beginnings with a staff of 10 in a small retail store called The Naran Shop.  Within just a couple of years Naran shop was already a household name and a brand on its own. Not only it was the first ever shop accepting payment in hard currencies, but also the first retail store selling foreign or “capitalist” brand products to the Mongolian consumers.  Today the Naran Group has 12 subsidiary companies in retail, wholesale & distribution, restaurant franchises, real estate, media and communications.

The company does business with several countries in Asia and Europe as well as with the US & Australia. Dendev would like to continue to work in Mongolia and to strengthen their markets in neighboring countries as well.

Congratulations to these strong and powerful women!
