IWEC Foundation Executive Director Welcomed to 3rd Term on New York District Export Council by Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney

The New York District Export Council reappointed IWEC’s Nancy Ploeger for a 3rd term.  Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney welcomed Nancy to the Council and presented her with the US Department of Commerce Certificate.

The New York District Export Council helps small and medium-sized businesses in the New York City metropolitan area and all of eastern New York State as far north as the Canadian border with all aspects of the export process.  Council Members include both private and public sector executives involved in global trade including NY Port Authority of NY/NJ, World Trade Centers Association and HSBC.  The Council works with elected officials on promoting pro-trade legislation and with the NYC Economic Development Corporation as well as NY State’s Empire State Development Coroporation.
