• The 11 regional winners will be part of the newly created “CaixaBank Women Entrepreneur Community” on LinkedIn, in which businesswomen can share ideas and knowledge with the winners of previous editions, and access exclusive experiences of the entity.
• The national winner will also be one of the Spanish representatives in the IWEC international awards, which this year will be presented in a virtual ceremony to adapt to the new situation arising from COVID-19.
CaixaBank has opened the deadline for submitting nominations for the fourth edition of the CaixaBank Women Entrepreneur Awards, which recognize the talent and professional excellence of businesswomen in Spain who are renowned for their careers, strategic vision, capacity for innovation and transformative leadership; and foster networks of contacts between world-leading entrepreneurs.
The awards have been consolidated in recent years for their promotion of diversity and their contribution to promoting gender equality in Spanish society.
The national winner of the CaixaBank Women Entrepreneur Award is one of the Spanish representatives in the 2020 IWEC Awards of the International Women’s Entrepreneurial Challenge (IWEC), the global network of leading women entrepreneurs around the world who cooperate globally to help create and distribute business wealth. The IWEC awards will be presented as part of the IWEC Annual Conference, which, in 2020, will be held for the first time in virtual format to adapt to the new situation arising from the COVID-19 pandemic.
As a novelty in the current edition, all the winners are invited to be part of the new “CaixaBank Women Entrepreneur Community” on LinkedIn, which brings together the winning businesswomen of all editions of the “CaixaBank Women Entrepreneur Awards” and puts them in contact with other networks of women entrepreneurs at national and international level such as IWEC, International Women’s Forum, Vital Voices or EIX & AMB.
