IWEC Partner, CaixaBank, Hold Diversity Talk in Istanbul, Turkey
Founding Partner to IWEC, CaixaBank, is holding a series of Diversity Talks around the globe. The most recent discussion was held in Istanbul, Turkey. The event was organized by Caixa’s local office in Istanbul and was held at the Pera Museum of Istanbul taking advantage of also viewing a temporary exhibition of CaixaBank´s art collection.
In attendance for this event were a number of female bank senior executives who came to discuss “Women in the Banking Sphere” followed by a private viewing of the collection. In addition, Ruhsar Pekcan, CEO, Karon Muhendislik.Sanayi ve Ticaret LTD STI & IWEC’s Global Ambassador for Turkey, attended on behalf of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce as well.
The feedback received from the participants was very positive and included comments like “it was about time to have this type of event organized” and thanked CaixaBank for stepping up. The women are also looking forward to new initiatives working together.
Since IWEC’s inception in 2007, CaixaBank has supported our initiative to connect successful women owned businesses and has created events such as this one to further the discussions around diversity and growth.
