IWEC Foundation Message in these challenging times
Ibukun Awosika speaks to the IWEC family
Dearest IWEC Family:
No matter where we are in the world right now, we and our communities are all affected one way or the other by this global pandemic. It has not only impacted on our physical lives , but it is also affecting the economic activities of our countries.
This are tough times, but as women we are tougher individually and better still we are toughest collectively. Let’s all observe to the best that we can, all the guidelines as instructed by the professionals to keep we , our families and our workers safe. In our businesses, let’s preserve them to the best of our abilities by taking the most practical decisions in our particular situation and market for sustainability even in this difficult times.
It is important to also know that there are opportunities available, even in this difficult times. We should not allow ourselves to be so overwhelmed, that we miss the opportunities of the season. Let’s reach out for help where we need it, there are no super women, only smart ones.
We sincerely look forward to seeing you all at the conference in Bahrain. By the grace of God the world will be back to normal and we can celebrate the many resilient, high achieving women , who will be our 2020 awardees.
Stay safe, stay smart and God keep us all.
Warm regards
Ibukun Awosika
