Dear IWEC Family,
For the past 17 years, the IWEC conference has been a highlight of my calendar — a gathering I eagerly anticipated for its extraordinary energy and purpose. While I cannot be with you in person this year, please know that I’m with you in heart and spirit.
As one of IWEC’s founders, I am proud of all we have accomplished together. I will always cherish the determination of the cofounders Adela Subirana, the foresight of Nancy Ploeger, and the dedication of Mukta Nandini Jain as we set out to build an organization that enhanced the position of women economically on a global scale. And, the tireless efforts of Carmen Castillo, who became our IWEC Co-Chair and was my fearless partner in growing the organization.
More recently, I give my thanks to our President Sunita Bajaj and Chairwoman Ibukun Awosika, who have carried on the Founders’ tradition and purpose. Additionally, a special recognition to Co-Vice Chair Harjinder Kaur from India, and Co-Vice Chair Pooja Chandra Pama, along with the ACE Health Foundation, who has given invaluable assistance from Washington, DC to our IWEC efforts.
This conference has become a beacon for women entrepreneurs across the globe — a space where success stories are shared, aspirations take flight, and lifelong connections are forged. The power of women supporting women is boundless. When we unite, share knowledge, and uplift one another, we redefine what is possible. I encourage each of you to seize this opportunity to build connections, exchange ideas, and lead boldly toward the future of female entrepreneurship.
Fondly,
Ruth
