The IWEC Foundation leadership, in order to continue its growth globally, has created a new Advisory Council.  These Council members will seek out the needs of our IWEC network women-owned businesses and to learn from their successes as well as to seek out, engage in and promote successful programs run by other international chambers and organizations who are also supporting their growth. The Advisory Council’s mission is to include (but is not limited to the following):

  • Providing technical expertise or advice in specific areas such as technology, science, health, policy, law, marketing, public relations, etc.
  • Helping spearhead a special project from planning to completion
  • Fundraising for a specific project
  • Providing an independent sounding board for the board of directors
  • Serving as an advocate for the organization
  • Fulfilling several roles for a nonprofit program where the organization serves as the fiscal agent
  • Offering services as a spokesperson for the organization in their city/country/area of the world
  • Suggest educational programming to support our network’s growth
