We are very pleased to have them join us at the 12th Annual IWEC Foundation Conference being held in New Delhi, India November 10th-13th. These ladies will receive their awards from IWEC Chairwoman and Former US Ambassador, Ruth A. Davis and IWEC Conference Chairwoman, Princess Noor Asem of Jordan at the Awards Ceremony on Tuesday November 12th.

Rekha Alam Chowdhury is the Managing Director of RSAL Company Ltd, which specializes in edible oil, solar energy & electronics. She started her first venture, R.S. Metal Box and Rekha Mustard Oil in 2012. RSAL has today flourished as one of the biggest conglomerates of Bangladesh. Under her dynamic leadership, RSAL continued to grow more other businesses in diverse fields Agro, and Food & Beverages. Rekha was also the Former Counselor and Former Acting & Panel Mayor of Chittagong City Corporation Bangladesh and was a director of the Chittagong Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
The company is doing business currently with China, Malaysia, India, Indonesia & Taiwan. Rekha would like to approach the USA, Canada & Europe.

Ivy started her business in 1996 and developed it into a leading manufacturer and retailer engaged with costume and jewelry related works, ethnic fabric, khadi, hand loom, silk, muslin and Jamdani which specially represent the heritage) in Bangladesh. Dolls House stands as one of the leading designer and manufacturers of exclusive range of ladies wear. Ivy is also involved with various organizations and organized Fashion Shows workshops and trainings, participated in various tv shows, magazine interviews and talk shows. She is passionate about social justice and training the workforce.
The company imports materials from China & India and wishes to export to Europe like UK, USA, Canada, France, Spain & Italy.
Shamim Murshed, Chairman, Sam Syndicate (Pvt.) Limited
Shamim Murshed Chairman of Sam Syndicate (Pvt) Ltd, which is a leading shipping & logistic service provider in Bangladesh. Her work with clients extends distinctive policy for improving commercial performance. She has designed successful strategies on marketing, cargo handling, and airline loyalty. In addition, she is also involved with the indenting and import of all kinds of machinery equipment. Shamim supports social activities, education and orphanage institutions. She is a member of many social organizations in Bangladesh and also an active Member and Director of Chittagong Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
The company is doing business currently with India, China, Malaysia, Japan, and Singapore. Shamim wishes to expand to Australia, Canada, UK and other European Countries.
