Among the finalists are Isabella Löwengrip & Pingis Hadenius, Löwengrip Beauty AB

November 14th entrepreneurs from ten companies compete to become regional finalist in in the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Award.

We wish them both all the best of luck in the final determinations!  Both of them are IWEC Past Awardees from 2015.

Following an extensive nomination and selection process, the regional finals in the Swedish edition of EY Entrepreneur Of The Year will be held.  This is one of the world’s leading entrepreneurial awards. In the Stockholm finals, ten successful companies will vie to win the honorable title and a place in the national finals.

“It is incredibly fun to introduce the finalists of the year in the Stockholm region. Just like last year, we have a host of innovative and driven entrepreneurs, who all really deserve their place in the final. This year’s final field is active in a variety of industries.  But what they have in common, in addition to the strong entrepreneurial spirit, is that everyone is working systematically and purposefully with sustainability.” Carlos Esterling, who is responsible for EY Entrepreneur Of The Year in the Stockholm region adds to his thoughts.

“It is also very pleasing that we have such strong role models, such as Isabella Löwengrip and Pingis Hadenius, Lowengrip Beauty AB, who make up the title of Stockholm’s premier entrepreneur. This year, 40 percent of the finalists are female entrepreneurs and the hope is that even more young women see the opportunities to start and run their own.”

The purpose of EY Entrepreneur Of The Year is to pay tribute to successful entrepreneurs and to increase interest in entrepreneurship in Sweden. The national winner will then represent Sweden in the Monte Carlo World Cup in June, where entrepreneurs from more than 60 countries make up the title as the world’s premier entrepreneur.
