Past Awardee, Ingrid van Rossum lead a delegation of 9 business owners from The Netherlands to NYC and visited the IWEC Foundation to learn more about our new initiatives and navigating business in NYC in the social entrepreneurship realm.
The entrepreneurs own businesses ranging from animal clinics to online marketing to energy conservation. They also visited several other companies and organizations throughout the city and even rode Citi Bikes over the Brooklyn Bridge!
Ingrid van Rossum is an entrepreneur with a focus on development and impact for people and organizations. She is involved in more initiatives and enterprises focusing on Entrepreneurship, Education and Innovation. Ingrid wants to learn more on transitions of companies for the good. The delegation of business owners from The Netherlands are all interested in social entrepreneurship as well. Ingrid received her IWEC award in 2013 at the annual conference in Lima Peru where she also met IWEC Awardee Pilar Deza, CEO of Casuarinas College, Lima and they worked together on an educational project.
