Oakleigh House School started as Montessori Kindergarten in 2007 and developed into a private school in 2009. It is an educational institution registered with ZIMSEC and Cambridge Board, offering international standard type of education from early childhood development to Grade 7 level. Next year in 2019 it is developing into a high school, Form 1 and 2 earmarking up to A Level and university level in 2020. The school constitutes of the world class state of the art storey type of buildings. The school children have been exposed to world heritage tourist attractions in South Africa, India, Zimbabwe and wishes to extend into international countries through cultural exchange programmes.
Ever since inception, Oakleigh House School has been attaining 100% pass at Grade 7 National Examinations and ranked amongst number 1 schools nationally consecutively. The school has been winning District, regional and national awards for its grand performance. As a project, it has been winning the ZNCC (Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce) awards in the years 2014, 2015, 2016 and the overall business award in 2017 that culminated into an international award for IWEC (International Women’s Entrepreneurial Challenge) presented to the Director in Shanghai, China in 2018.
However, the school’s demand has gone beyond borders especially South Africa our neighbouring country who wishes us to extend into a boarding school so that they also benefit from our services.
