LBAN’s immediate mission is to strengthen the U.S. economy by empowering Latino and Latina entrepreneurs to grow substantial firms that create jobs, develop leaders and increase the wealth of Latino communities. A collaboration with Stanford University in which LBAN funds business research and education programs, called the Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Initiative, has been created to carry out this mission.
You will learn concepts and frameworks through an online course developed by Stanford University faculty, Professor Huggy Rao and Professor Bob Sutton. The course entitled “Scaling Excellence”, speaks directly to the scaling issue that our research highlights as key to the success of Latino-owned businesses. It is augmented by videotaped interviews with Latino entrepreneurs who have successfully scaled their companies, mentors and capital providers.

As a child, she loved being a Girls Scout and earned so many badges that some had to be sewn on the back side of her sash!
