On September 16th, ZNCC Women’s Desk hosted their 4th annual conference drawing over 190 delegates to the conference and 250 at the Gala dinner.
The theme of this year’s conference was “Sustainability of Women Owned Business in Zimbabwe Through Connecting Women Entrepreneurs to Markets.” Opening remarks were made by Divine Ndhlukula, who passionately spearheads the ZNCC Women’s Desk. She is also the ZNCC representative to the International Womens Entrepreneurial Challenge (IWEC) Foundation and a past IWEC awardee.
“WECA is a platform for practical solutions for women to upscale their business and a support base from the start-up phase to the pinnacle in building large scale enterprises which can be realised through supporting one another. This year’s theme resonates with the very exciting initiative we are about to embark on. We emphasise that the topics for the panel discussions are pertinent to where we are as women and where we want to be. I urge women to “…seize the moment and embracethe winds of change blowing in our favour,” stated Divine.
